Once you take the dive into calligraphy and lettering, both digitally and with pen and paper, you may want to start adding decorative elements to your designs. One of the first things I started incorporating was banners! I love to add banners to pieces such as event invitations and I think they go beautifully with floral elements. Once you get the hang of the basic structure of a banner, drawing them becomes second nature!
